Britain STILL Sending CHINA Foreign Aid

Keep paying your taxes! Because the Sunak regime is still giving a fortune in foreign aid to China - a country with an economy SIX TIMES bigger than ours.

Britain is still spending millions in aid to China every year despite increasing tensions with Beijing and transparency concerns, a watchdog has warned.

Government departments spent £8.2million on Chinese aid engagement last year on projects including Chevening scholarships for Chinese students and deforestation efforts.

This figure is set to fall to £7.1million next year, according to the Independent Commission for Aid Impact.

In 2021, the Foreign Office pledged to cut its aid budget for programs in China by 95 per cent.

But the ICAI suggests aid is expected to remain at or around the current level while Beijing remains eligible for official development assistance (ODA).
