Why Should SHE Come Home When Innocents Didn't?

'Those innocent pop fans never came home so why should she?'

A teacher who was seriously injured in the Manchester Arena terror attack has said ISIS bride Shamima Begum should never be allowed to return to the UK.

Jade Clough, who was at the Ariana Grande concert in 2017 which saw the loss of 22 innocent lives, described how the attack had 'changed her life forever' and left her with nightmares.

Ms Clough's comments followed a court ruling yesterday in which Ms Begum lost her bid to reverse the 2019 decision to revoke her UK nationality, meaning she will not be able to return to London from the refugee camp in northern Syria she currently lives in.

Ms Clough yesterday said she was happy with the decision and believes that Shamima Begum should stay where she is.

Speaking to The Sun, she said: 'She chose to go to a war zone when she was a teenager but girls her age who chose to go to a concert in Manchester never came back.

'Those innocent pop fans never came home so why should she?'

She added: 'We all make choices and now she has to live with hers.'

Ms Clough, who suffered a serious leg injury in the bombing, said she still has 'mental scars' and struggles to sleep due to nightmares.

She said her life was 'changed forever' by the actions of the suicide bomber, and Ms Begum has 'absolutely no place' in British society.
