Trans Ban Common Sense

Traditionalists and 'old-style' feminists have praised British Cycling for introducing a new policy which bans transgender women racing in the female category, saying it's a 'step in the right direction'.

The comments came after "Emily" Bridges - a man claiming to be a woman - revealed he may give up competitive cycling and emigrate after the sport's governing body in Britain banned transgender women from racing, branding it a 'genocide against us'.

The cyclist, who set a national junior men's record over 25 miles in 2018 before "transitioning", claimed British Cycling has homophobic coaches and compared bosses to the Nazis, declaring: 'I'm having to consider an exit plan from this terrible island'.
