THIS DAY IN HISTORY: Bloody Friday
On this day, 21st July 1972, the Provisional IRA set off 22 bombs in Belfast over the course of 80 minutes, claiming the lives of 9 people and injuring 130.
For a period of 20 minutes, a bomb exploded every single minute.
This day is remembered as Bloody Friday. We remember the victims of republican Terrorism.
