THIS DAY IN HISTORY: Battle of Otranto, 800 Christians beheaded
On 13th August, 1480, when Ottoman soldiers invaded Otranto, the commander ordered inhabitants to renounce their faith and convert to Islam.
The 800 men, led by Antonio Primaldo, said they preferred one thousand times over, to die, rather than renounce Jesus, the Son of God. They were all beheaded.
The British Freedom Party is an unashamedly Christian movement!
We encourage our members and supporters to wear the Christian cross as a symbol of our ancient faith.
