Saint George is the patron saint of England, whose legend is remembered for slaying a dragon!

George was tortured and executed on 23rd April 303 AD because he refused to give up his Christian faith.

We think it is important that we celebrate every saint of our United Kingdom; St David, St Patrick, St George and St Andrew!
